Casa Bellisima

My Husband and I took a trip up North to celebrate our birthdays and we didn't know what to do our first night for dinner, but on our ride up we googled this place. Since it wasn't too far from our place we were staying we took a chance and booked a reservation. Casa Bellisima did not disappoint!!! We got there a little early and we had a drink at the bar. The bartender was very nice and got us a drink right away. When we were ready for our table we were sat right away. Our server was very nice but shy. We had the mussels fra Diablo and arancini for apps. Absolutely excellent! The fra Diablo sauce was so good. It had perfect balance of spiciness to it. For dinner I had the zuppa de pescae over capellini. It was full of sea food that all tasted fresh. It was to die for and my husband had the veal Colombo. Which was mouth watering. When we visit again we will definitely visit again and recommend you checking out this lovely place. Photos of our food. I forgot to take a picture before diving in but we were so hungry.

A beautiful restaurant to have an intimate special occasion such as a bridal shower, birthday, anniversary, communion etc. the atmosphere is warm and they welcome your special decorations to make your event even more personal. Our bridal shower this past weekend was elegant and our guests found Casa Bellisima menu delicious, served hot and abundant. Their staff were attune to your timing of toasts, speeches, games etc. Just a nice comfortable atmosphere to be proud to remember.

The busers are probably the best staff, we both got the filet mignon, garlic bread, the Glace on the steak was too strong, it was cooked to requested temp of medium but for filet mignon it was tough. The asparagus was under cooked, the potatoes were fabulous though, the garlic bread was soggy, I regret ordering as the slightly stale crusted table bread was better, I ordered a 12 dollar glass of wine that wasn't even half full, it was not worth the pricing as I could go to Mohawk house, which is local or even chart house, pay the same amount or less for better food. We had gone here before an had different entrees that were better, but for a special night we ordered fancy food an it just wasn't great. Super disappointed.

Took GF for birthday dinner on a Thursday night. Very quiet. Sat down immediately. Menu is pretty extensive. Salad with pears and walnuts was great. The food did take a bit longer than I expected, given there were only 2 couples in the dining room. Had veal saltimbocca. Very good. I was disappointed that they did not have the chocolate layer cake that was on their web menu. Our server was very nice, but of course, was not challenged by the few patrons in that evening. The only other pause was that they tacked on an extra 3.99% for using a credit card. If I was on the fence about going back, that would discourage me.
